What is Cairo Quilt? Cairo quilt is the perfect piecing thread. It’s an Egyptian long-staple cotton thread that is strong and durable compared to competitive cotton threads. The best thing about Cairo quilt thread is that it’s LOW-LINT and made in the USA. This 50 weight threads holds 670 yards in the mini spool and the king spool holds 3000 yards.

NEEDLE RECOMMENDATIONS:

• For piecing  with light weight wovens such as quilting cotton, the best needle to use is the SCHMETZ 5 QUILTING NEEDLES 75/11
•  For heavier fabrics such as canvas, we recommend the SCHMETZ 5 CHROME UNIVERSAL NEEDLES 90/14 or SCHMETZ 5 QUILTING NEEDLES 90/14
