Learn to Applique Virtual Class

Description

Join Gigi and create a set of adorable mug rugs using raw-edge appliqué through the use of a blanket stitch and zig zag stitch.

In this class, you will first learn to transfer patterns while using fusible webbing. We will also create a pieced and quilted background. Then we will start securing the designs by stitching them down while we learn to smoothly navigate those pesky corners and curves . We will purposely have patterns that allow you to work with straight lines and curves so you’re exposed to different challenges.

Class includes complete step by step instructions, patterns and a live instruction that will be easily accessible if you don’t make it on the date it launches.

The pattern will be Christmas themed, but the instructor will also teach you how to create your own patterns that can be used with the background quilted mug rug.

Gigi’s class will be streamed on a private Facebook group so it is important that you request to enter the Facebook group after you sign up for the class. You must have a Facebook account to participate. (CLASS LINK HERE) You can watch the class live with the instructor or watch it on demand whenever your busy schedule allows. The class will stay accessible for one year from the posting date. The class can be viewed on a mobile device , iPad , tablet or computers. We recommend watching on a larger screen.
