What it's Used For:
This foot is used for sewing 2 layers of material while gathering to attach to another flat layer. The top slit is for your un-gathered layer, and the bottom does the gathering.
- Keep in mind this foot has no hinged spring to help fluctuate between layers of materials. May not be the best option for thicker layers.
