When you access, browse, or make a purchase through our website, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms apply to all visitors and users of the site, including customers, vendors, merchants, and contributors of content. If you do not agree to these Terms, please discontinue use of the website and services immediately.

Janome Junkies reserves the right to update, revise, or replace any portion of these Terms at any time by posting changes to our website. Continued use of the website after changes have been posted constitutes your acceptance of those revisions.

Dispute Resolution, Arbitration & Class Action Waiver

Mandatory Arbitration

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, your use of our website, products, services, or any transaction with Janome Junkies shall be resolved exclusively through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in a court of law. The arbitration shall take place in Hillsborough County, Florida, or via remote hearing. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this provision.

Exceptions

Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies. Either party may seek emergency injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to prevent irreparable harm pending arbitration.

Class Action Waiver

YOU AND JANOME JUNKIES EACH AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT AS A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration. If this waiver is found to be unenforceable, then the entirety of this arbitration provision shall be null and void.

Opt-Out Right

You may opt out of mandatory arbitration by sending written notice to customerservice@janomejunkies.com within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Your notice must include your name, address, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out of arbitration. Opting out does not affect any other provision of these Terms.

Arbitration Fees

The AAA's filing fees will be governed by its Consumer Arbitration Rules. For claims under $10,000, Janome Junkies will pay all AAA filing and arbitrator fees unless the arbitrator finds your claim frivolous. Each party bears its own attorneys' fees unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Order Acceptance, Shipping Terms & Refund Policy

All orders placed through Janome Junkies are subject to review and acceptance. Receipt of an order confirmation email does not constitute acceptance of an order, confirmation of pricing, or guarantee of product availability. Janome Junkies reserves the right to refuse, cancel, limit, or modify any order at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

In the event of an incorrect price, product description, inventory discrepancy, website error, or suspected fraud, Janome Junkies reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order, even after payment has been submitted. If payment has already been processed for a canceled order, a refund will be issued to the original method of payment.

Janome Junkies reserves the right to limit quantities purchased per customer, household, address, credit card, business, or order. We also reserve the right to refuse sales to dealers, resellers, distributors, or customers suspected of purchasing products for unauthorized resale purposes.

Janome Junkies does not ship or deliver industrial sewing machines outside of the Continental United States. International orders for industrial machines will be canceled and refunded less any applicable processing fees, merchant fees, or transaction costs incurred by Janome Junkies.

Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by law or unless the return is due to an error made by Janome Junkies. Certain items may be subject to restocking fees, manufacturer return policies, freight return charges, non-refundable deposits, or merchant processing fees where permitted by law.

Products identified as final sale, clearance, special order, digital products, downloadable content, opened software, cut fabric, personalized items, classes, events, gift cards, and certain machine accessories may not be eligible for return or refund.

In-Store Repair, Service & Consignment Policy

Repair & Service Work

When you leave a machine or equipment with Janome Junkies for repair, service, cleaning, or evaluation, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

• You are the owner of, or are authorized to authorize service on, the machine or item left with us.
• Janome Junkies exercises reasonable care when handling equipment but is not responsible for pre-existing damage, undisclosed defects, or additional issues discovered during servicing.
• Unclaimed machines left more than 90 days after completion notice will be considered abandoned. Janome Junkies reserves the right to charge storage fees or dispose of unclaimed items after providing reasonable notice.
• Estimates provided prior to repair are good-faith approximations only. Final charges may vary based on parts availability, additional labor, or unforeseen conditions discovered during service.
• Janome Junkies is not liable for data loss, software corruption, or pre-existing damage to equipment left for service.

Trade-In & Consignment

If Janome Junkies accepts a machine or product for trade-in or consignment, separate written terms will be provided at the time of drop-off. In the absence of a separate written agreement, these Terms of Service govern the transaction. Janome Junkies makes no guarantee of sale price or timeline for consignment items and reserves the right to return unsold items at the owner's expense after 180 days.

Influencer, Ambassador & Social Media Policy

Any individual or entity that receives products, compensation, discounts, affiliate commissions, or other benefits from Janome Junkies in exchange for content creation, social media promotion, reviews, demonstrations, or brand representation ("Ambassador") agrees to the following:

• Ambassadors must clearly and conspicuously disclose their material relationship with Janome Junkies in accordance with FTC guidelines (e.g., #ad, #sponsored, #JanomeJunkiesPartner).
• Ambassadors may not make false, misleading, or unsubstantiated claims about Janome Junkies products or services.
• Product sent for review or promotional purposes remains the property of Janome Junkies unless otherwise stated in writing. We reserve the right to request return of loaned items.
• Ambassadors may not disparage Janome Junkies, its brands, products, employees, or partners in any public forum.
• Janome Junkies reserves the right to terminate any Ambassador relationship at any time without cause or prior notice.
• Any content created using Janome Junkies products or under an Ambassador arrangement may be shared, reposted, or used by Janome Junkies for marketing purposes consistent with our User Submissions policy.

Online Store Terms & Age Requirements

By using this Site, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence, or that you are using the Site under the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian. This Site is intended for individuals who are at least 13 years of age.

Pricing, Service Modifications & Fees

Unless otherwise specifically stated, listed prices do not include shipping charges, freight fees, handling fees, insurance, taxes, customs duties, brokerage fees, export crating, white-glove delivery services, lift gate services, installation fees, or other applicable charges. Customers are solely responsible for all additional fees associated with their order.

Tax Exempt Purchases

Janome Junkies proudly serves schools, universities, churches, nonprofits, charities, government organizations, sewing programs, manufacturers, and businesses that may qualify for tax-exempt purchasing. Customers requesting tax-exempt status must provide valid and current tax-exempt documentation prior to order processing and payment completion.

If tax-exempt documentation is not submitted, incomplete, expired, invalid, or received after an order has been processed or shipped, applicable sales taxes may still be charged. Gift Card Policy

Gift cards issued by Janome Junkies are not valid until purchased and activated. Gift cards may be redeemed for eligible products and services and are not redeemable for cash except where required by applicable law. Gift cards are non-refundable and non-reloadable.

Janome Junkies reserves the right to refuse, deactivate, cancel, or hold gift cards suspected of fraud or unauthorized activity. Educational Content, Classes & Tutorial Disclaimer

Results may vary depending on user skill level, materials, machine setup, and other factors. Participation in classes, tutorials, demonstrations, events, or educational content is voluntary and at the participant's own risk.

Product Warranties & Manufacturer Coverage

Many products sold through Janome Junkies may include manufacturer warranties subject to the terms established by the manufacturer. Warranty coverage, limitations, and repair eligibility vary by manufacturer and product. Janome Junkies does not independently guarantee manufacturer warranty coverage beyond what is provided by the manufacturer unless specifically stated in writing.

Unauthorized modifications, misuse, improper maintenance, accidents, or failure to follow manufacturer guidelines may void warranty coverage.

Fabric, Cut Goods & Dye Lot Variations

All cut fabric, precut materials, custom-cut items, batting cuts, stabilizers, trim, elastic, ribbon, and similar cut-to-order products are considered final sale and may not be returned or exchanged unless required by law.

Fabric colors, textures, scale, print placement, and dye lots may vary slightly between shipments, manufacturers, and production runs. Minor variations are considered normal and are not defects.

Financing & Third-Party Payment Programs

Financing options offered through Janome Junkies are provided through third-party financing companies and are subject to separate approval processes, terms, conditions, and eligibility requirements established by those providers. Janome Junkies does not control financing approvals, credit decisions, interest rates, or payment schedules. Any questions regarding financing should be directed to the applicable financing provider.

Data Security & Breach Notification

Janome Junkies implements commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

In the event of a data breach that triggers notification obligations under applicable state or federal law, Janome Junkies will notify affected individuals in accordance with those legal requirements, including Florida's Information Protection Act (FIPA) and any other applicable state breach notification statutes.
