What it's Used For:

This bobbin case is used while doing machine embroidery to help achieve perfect stitches. 

• When doing machine embroidery, tension is not a 50/50 balance like we see when doing regular sewing. Its more like 70/30. Much more top thread than bobbin thread, you'll see this on the backside of your embroidery stitch out. 
• This bobbin case gauged to have more tension, which is also ideal when sewing with very fine threads as well.
• The bobbin holder market with a yellow dot has 20g tension vs your standard bobbin case is 10g.
• For best results be sure to use your straight stitch plate while doing embroidery. 
• Another tip: If your embroidery design is more simple, and more of like a quilting design, where you need even tension on the back and front,  stick with your standard bobbin case.
