What it's Used For:
This foot and needle plate is used for doing ruler work while free motion quilting.
- This foot is height adjustable (with the screw in the back) to make any necessary adjustments for your quilt before getting started.
- The needle drops a 1/4 inch away from the ruler to create the quilting line.
- This is a set, coming not only with the ruler foot but with the correct needle plate needing to be higher than your feed dogs so you can free motion properly.
- This foot should be used with high shank rulers measuring a 1/4".

Machines that are compatible with this foot:
This foot will only fit the Janome HD9 series, as well as the Janome 1600. This is a high shank foot that may also work on other semi industrial style machines.
