What it's Used For:
The guide to the left of the foot is designed to help feed fabric evenly to maintain a ¼" seam.
- All feet have a metal black guide to help guide fabrics while sewing.

Machines that are compatible with this foot:
This foot will only fit the Janome HD9 series, as well as the Janome 1600. This is a high shank foot that will also work on other semi industrial style machines.
This WILL NOT fit any high shank computerized machines. If you do not see your machine listed here, you can check out this listing for computerized machines.
