This is ideal when working with threads like Metallics, MonoPoly, and Trilobal polyesters. Threads that are more slick and slippery tend to travel off the spools at a great rate. By placing a spool net over your thread, it will eliminate thread puddling. Which can cause needle breakage, thread breakage, jams, and even damage your bobbin cases.
